TOP Five E-Tools for Coaches

Everybody has tools they just love. Here are mine.

  • Acuity Scheduling.

I set my schedule by day and clients access that schedule and book appointments that work for their schedule. No more back and forth, wasting time on dates. Acuity can handle discounts and bundled prices like a pro. It's also linked to paypal, so all appointments booked are prepaid. One less thing to manage. Yay! (paid monthly)

  • Evernote.

Evernote is a searchable brain. I dump my notes for future retreats and VIP sessions into a note, I drag PDFs and docs into the note, I add audio notes and checklists. There's a webclipper that's added to my internet browser so I can easily capture webpages that inspire me. It's easy to scan docs and receipts for an electronic filing system that's searchable. When you scan a business card, Evernote can place all the details directly into your mobile phone Contacts. Amazing! Filing and file folders (my least favorite task because I know I'll never remember where my docs are) become irrelevant when you can search all the notes for key words. There's a free and paid version.

  • Google Docs, Slides & Sheets.

Access to all my documents, spreadsheets and presentations anywhere and they're easy to share with one person or everyone.  No more computer crashing and the latest version of the docs weren't saved. Google saves every 5 minutes. It's easy to turn them into PDFs or PowerPoint slides. These tools are amazing. And FREE.

  • Google Streak.

A CRM (customer relationship management) sales tool to manage potential clients and not let them fall through the cracks. Remember that guy you met at a party that was interested in your coaching and you promised to follow up with an email...then forgot? He deserves to hear from you. Again--FREE.

  • Zoom.

Running groups feels more intimate and connected when we can see each other. Zoom is a video conferencing tool that has a simple dashboard and easy recording options. There's a free and paid version.
