Fort Worden is located in Port Townsend, Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula.
It’s an easy two hour trip from Seattle and three hours from Vancouver, B.C.
Be sure to take in the sights along the way. If you’re coming from the north, check out La Conner or Whidbey Island. Take a side trip to Mt. Baker National Forest. From the south, experience the scenic Highway 101 route from Olympia or Tacoma. Or hop on the Seattle ferry and drive through coastal towns such as Poulsbo and Port Gamble. Whichever way you get here, make your journey as memorable as your visit.
Located less than two miles from downtown Port Townsend, Fort Worden is easily accessible for both locals and visitors.
Fort Worden is a gorgeous, Victorian-era, restored military base in Port Townsend overlooking Puget Sound. We're staying in The Reunion House, a 14 bedroom house with a full kitchen and 2 living rooms (one for connection and one for quiet space). There are Queen and Twin bedrooms available (first come, first served).
